Submission Guidelines for Yahoo! India.
Naming of banners
Use only small letters instead of big caps
No big caps and spaces in between the banner title name. If required, use '_' (underscore) and not '-' (hyphen).
Flash banners must have the same title names as GIF/JPEG banners.
Banner title names are not to be repeated.
Example:
yahoo_728x90_19june04.swf / yahoo_728x90_19june04.gif
Submission Guidelines

All FLASH banners require a clickTAG. For ALL Flash banners a click TAG command on the button layer is required as shown below:
  on (release){
   GetURL (clickTAG);
   }
The clickTAG button should be on the topmost layer.

Guidelines for the creative
  · The clickTAG button should be on the topmost layer.
  ·The command should not contain any extra code like
  “_blank” or fscommand.
  · Frame rate should not exceed 18 frames per second,
  12 frames per second is preferred.
  · No music or audio on load.
  · Backup GIF/JPEG creative is MANDATORY.
  · The clickthrough URL should NOT be embedded in
  the flash creative.
  · DHTML banners developed in Flash version 7 are not
  accepted.
Black border needs to be added on all the banner creatives – GIF and SWF.
CLOSE button mandatory for all DHTML banners.
REPLAY button mandatory for all DHTML banners.
All DHTML banners – animation time – 12 secs.
Sequence of layers in the flash file for DHTML ads:
      Topmost layer – REPLAY BUTTON
      Below – CLOSE BUTTON
      Below – CLICK TAG BUTTON LAYER

Dotcom Creatives

     Must have border.
     Must be within file size and dimension specs – mandatory.
     Should not loop.
     Should not animate for more than 10 secs.

Homepage Animation Guidelines

  Crazy Ad, Expanded Mantle, Expanded NP
     Animation Timelines – 8 secs.
     DHTML ads cannot loop.
     Standard Mantle and Standard NP ads can loop.
Submission of creatives
- Standard (non-rich media - GIF/JPG and FLASH) are
  2 working days prior to start date
- Dhtml and Rich media is 4 working days prior to start date
  date
- Front Page ads are min 4 working days prior to start
  date
- Ads to be published on yahoo.com are min 5 working
  days prior to start date.
- Banner ads leading to content/ promotion/ data
  collection pages on Yahoo! or client server need to be
  reviewed by the legal team, hence require a 4
  working days lead time prior to start date.
- Please submit creatives before 4.00 p.m.
Creative submissions should include the following:
- Yahoo! Insertion Order number (IO#).
- Creative files.
- Linking URL: Must be domain name based and cannot be an IP address (i.e., http://207.123.456.78 ).
- 3rd party tags (if applicable), and it must be live at the time of submission to enable thorough testing before launch.
