| Alternate Image for FLASH banner |
Alternate GIF/JPGs of 440x160 pixels and 300x100 pixels are required for browser without FLASH player. The file size of 440x160 pixel cannot exceed 12kb. The File size of 300x100 cannot exceed 8kb. |
| Animation limitation |
The playtime length of the animation cannot be longer than 5 seconds in duration.
The actions layer contains an action in the last frame getURL("javascript:swfAction('done')"); |
| Frame Rate |
The frame rate for this ad unit may not exceed12 frames per second. |
| ClickTAG |
All FLASH banners require a clickTAG. For ALL Flash banners a click TAG command on the button layer is required as shown below:

We need a text link of maximum 20 character (with spaces) to be place below the 300x100 GIF banner after the Flash complete animations. |
| IMPORTANT
NOTE |
The entire expanded area CANNOT be opaque, i.e. the crazy ad cannot be in the form of an opaque rectangle covering the entire given space of 760x316 pixels. Only a floating unit which occupies no more than 30-40% of the expanded space (excluding the standard NP – 300x100 and Mantle – 440x160 area)can be opaque. Rest of the area needs to be transparent or translucent. Please check with the sales production team for further clarification. |

Ads must conform to specifications outlined herein. Elements not meeting specifications will be returned for revision, which may delay the launch date. |

Creatives submission must include the following: |
|
| |
1) Yahoo! Insertion Order number |
| |
| |
2) Creatives/Banners |
| |
| |
i. No spaces in between the banner title name. If required, use '_' (underscore) and not '-' (hyphen). Use only small letters instead of caps. |
| |
| |
ii. FLASH banners must have the same title names as their GIF/JPEG backup files. Banner title names are not to be repeated. |
| |
| |
iii. Example: yahoo_728x90_19mar04.swf /

iv. Black border needs to be added on all the banner creatives - gif and swf |
| |
| |
3) Linking URL: Site must be live before campaign starts. It must be domain name based and cannot be IP an address (i.e., http://207.123.456.78 ) |

4) CLOSE button mandatory. please make sure to add this command on the button: getURL("javascript:swfAction('close')"); |

| |
5) The last frame of the animation must include the following code in action scripting stop(); |
| |

6) The actions layer contains an action in the last frame getURL("javascript:swfAction('done')");, |
| |
| |
7) We require a “Close” button on the Flash banner when the animation plays so that the user has an option to stop the animation and display GIF. The Close button must appear when animation starts until the end of the last frame. It should be highly visible and should reside within the 760x316 area of the flash banner and it MUST have the following actionscript : getURL("javascript:swfAction('close')"); |

Creatives Material Deadline for

- Standard (non-rich media - GIF/JPG and FLASH) are 2 working days prior to start date
- Dhtml and Rich media is 4 working days prior to start date
- Front Page ads are min 4 working days prior to start date
- Banner ads leading to content/ promotion/ data collection pages on Yahoo! or client
server need to be reviewed by the legal team, hence require a 4 working days lead time
prior to start date.
- Please submit creatives before 4.00 p.m.
