The filesize of the swf cannot exceed 30kb

Alternate Image for FLASH banner
A GIF/JPG of 100x100 pixels is required. File size cannot exceed 6kb. This is mandatory.
Animation limitation
GIF animation for 15 seconds max.
Frame Rate
The frame rate for this ad unit may not exceed 12-16 frames per second
Replay Button Not allowed

Close Button

Close button will start the closing animation. After the animation, it will call the following script :

ClickTAG
All FLASH banners require a clickTAG. For ALL Flash banners a click TAG command on the button layer is required as shown below:

   }
The clickTAG button should be on the topmost layer.
FLASH Version Yahoo! allows FLASH versions 5 only
Submission Guidelines
 
Ads must conform to specifications outlined herein. Elements not meeting specifications will be returned for revision, which may delay the launch date.
Creatives submission must include the following:
  1) Yahoo! Insertion Order number
 
2) Creatives/Banners
i. No spaces in between the banner title name. If required, use '_' (underscore) and not '-' (hyphen). Use only small letters instead of caps.
ii. Flash banners must have the same title names as their gif/jpeg backup files. Banner title names are not to be repeated.
iii. Example: yahoo_320x250_19mar04.swf /
yahoo_320x250_19mar04.gif
iv. CLOSE button mandatory
v. REPLAY button not mandatory
vi. Sequence of layers in the flash file for dhtml ads:
       Topmost layer – REPLAY BUTTON
       Below – CLOSE BUTTON
       Below – CLICK TAG BUTTON LAYER
vii. The last frame of the animation must include the following code in action scripting stop();
  3) Linking URL: Site must be live before campaign starts. It must be domain name based and cannot be an IP address (i.e., http://207.123.456.78 )
  4) Sequence of layers in the flash file for DHTML ads:
Topmost layer – REPLAY BUTTON
Below – CLOSE BUTTON
Below – CLICK TAG BUTTON LAYER
Creatives Material Deadline for India:-
 
- Standard (non-rich media - GIF/JPG and FLASH) are
  2 working days prior to start date
- Dhtml and Rich media is 4 working days prior to start
  date
- Front Page ads are min 4 working days prior to start
  date
- Banner ads leading to content/ promotion/ data
  collection pages on Yahoo! or client server need to be
  reviewed by the legal team, hence require a 4
  working days lead time prior to start date.
- Please submit creatives before 4.00 p.m.
